Narrative Illustration with Process I Children's book illustration

The illustration "Roadside Conversations" is a narrative drawing created during the development of a children's book illustration project. The goal was to tell a story in a single frame using expressive character design, clear emotion, and a cinematic composition.
The different characters create emotional contrasts that help enhance the humor and narrative.
The project includes visual development, composition, gestures, facial expressions, and color design. Several sketches were created before moving on to the final digital painting to find the most powerful narrative perspective.
